3D Shapes
What are 3D Shapes?
3D shapes have three dimensions: length, width, and height (or depth). They are not flat and can be held or seen from all sides.

Cube
A cube has 6 equal square faces, 12 edges, and 8 corners. All sides are the same length.

Cuboid
A cuboid has 6 rectangular faces, 12 edges, and 8 corners. It looks like a box or a brick.
Sphere
A sphere is perfectly round, like a ball. Every point on its surface is the same distance from the center.
Cylinder
A cylinder has two flat circular faces and one curved surface. It looks like a can or a tube.
Cone
A cone has a flat circular base and a pointed top. It looks like an ice cream cone or a party hat.
Pyramid
A pyramid has a flat base and triangular faces that meet at a point. The base can be a square or triangle.
Prism
A triangular prism is shown using an isometric projection. The front face is a triangle defined by the vertices (50,30), (20,80), and (80,80). The top face and left face are created by offsetting the front face to simulate depth.
Hemisphere
A hemisphere is half of a sphere. It has a flat circular face and a curved surface.
